
Noida Phase 1 witnessed unrest on Tuesday evening as Bajrang Dal activists protested the discovery of a calf’s carcass. The activists, reacting to the finding of the animal’s body in a drain, expressed their anger by attempting to block a road near the Shani temple. Police arrived to manage the situation.
The police confirmed that they received information regarding a cow’s carcass found in a remote area near the Shani temple in Sector 14A. The Bajrang Dal suspected foul play. While the police were preparing their response, activists from the Bajrang Dal and other Hindu organizations arrived at the scene, leading to immediate protests.
During the protest, participants chanted religious slogans and some sat on the road, creating a traffic obstruction. The incident created a sense of alarm in the neighborhood. Investigations determined the carcass was several days old and had begun to decompose.
Local residents urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation and prosecute those responsible. ACP Swatantra Kumar Singh reported that the situation had been brought under control and assured that the police are taking action. Police stated that they will apprehend the accused within 48 hours and are currently investigating the case, promising to take appropriate measures.
