
At the Apple Event 2025, the company unveiled the launch date and key features of the iOS 26 update. The new operating system will introduce a ‘liquid glass interface’ for a refreshed look. The official release is scheduled for September 15th via an over-the-air update. Some features may not be available in all regions. A list of incompatible devices includes the iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and iPhone XR. Compatible devices are iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd Generation), and iPhone 16e. The iOS 26 update will support Apple Intelligence on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and iPhone 16e. To download the beta version, sign up for the Apple Developer Program and download it via the software update settings.
