Maruti Suzuki is set to release the Victoris SUV, packed with advanced technology and designed to appeal to a broad consumer base. The vehicle is targeted at younger buyers and families, marking it as Maruti’s new flagship SUV. A major highlight of the Victoris is the introduction of ADAS (Autonomous Driver Assistance System), making it the first Maruti to integrate this technology. This system will include features such as automatic braking, lane keeping assistance, and collision avoidance, enhancing driving safety. Additionally, the car boasts a Dolby Atmos audio system, delivering a superior audio experience. The Victoris has also received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. The engine options will include petrol, petrol-hybrid, and CNG versions.
Customers can pre-book the Maruti Victoris SUV for ₹11,000. The launch is anticipated before Diwali, although the exact date hasn’t been released. The launch is possibly scheduled around Navratri, which is from September 22 to October 2. The SUV will be offered in six trims: LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI (O), ZXI+, and ZXI+ (O). The base LXI model includes a 7-inch touchscreen, a 4.2-inch driver display, black-ivory interior upholstery, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a voice assistant, a front USB A charger, push button start/stop, a smart key, a pollen air filter, automatic AC, rear AC vents, six airbags, ABS with brake assist, an electric stability program, hill hold assist, a tire repair kit, Isofix child seat anchors, and three-point seatbelts for all passengers. With an estimated price of approximately ₹10 lakh, the LXI trim is positioned as a budget-friendly option, though it omits some premium features.
Upgrades in the higher-end ZXI+ include Level-2 ADAS, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front ventilated seats, 4 speakers, a head-up display, two Type-C front USB chargers, terrain mode (AWD), and 17-inch machine-cut alloy wheels. The ZXi+ (O) adds a panoramic sunroof. These premium models, owing to their expanded feature set, are projected to cost around ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom). The ZXI+ and ZXI+ (O) variants are recommended for those with the budget. The most value-for-money trim can only be determined following the official price announcement. The Maruti Victoris ZXI represents a strong proposition, featuring a 10.25-inch driver display, black-ivory interior upholstery, an automatic IRVM, black-out 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, DRLs, fog lamps, and all of the features from the base model.
