
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assigned government ministers to manage relief operations in flood-affected areas. The Prime Minister has instructed to expedite the relief work in the affected regions. BJP’s National General Secretary Tarun Chugh will be coordinating with the ministers. State ministers are to camp in the disaster areas to assess the relief work. The ministers are instructed to visit four states which recently faced floods and natural disasters. A relief package of 1200 crore rupees has been announced for Uttarakhand. Financial assistance has been announced for the families of those who lost their lives in the disaster, along with aid for the injured. The Prime Minister acknowledged the severity of the situation and ensured the government’s commitment to providing support. The meeting was attended by the Governor of Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister, and other senior officials. The Prime Minister emphasized a comprehensive approach to aid the region’s recovery, including rebuilding houses, repairing national highways, reconstructing schools, and providing relief through the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. Financial assistance will be provided under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin to eligible families whose houses have been damaged by the disaster. The Prime Minister met with affected families and expressed his condolences.
