The market is witnessing a surge in interest in eco-friendly vehicles, combined with favorable changes due to new GST reforms that have made vehicle prices more appealing. This dynamic environment has revitalized the market, significantly boosting buyer enthusiasm. With the final months of the year approaching, the anticipation surrounding new car launches is intensifying. Automotive companies are actively preparing to unveil vehicles equipped with innovative features and advanced technologies. It’s expected that at least eight new car models and SUVs will be introduced on Indian roads before the end of 2025.
Here’s a look at the Upcoming Launches:
* Mahindra Thar Facelift: Launching by the end of September.
* Maruti Victoris: Expected launch before Diwali.

These upcoming models include both entirely new vehicles and refreshed versions of popular models. They are expected to integrate cutting-edge technology, advanced safety features, and improved fuel efficiency, offering consumers a broader range of choices.
The refreshed Mahindra Thar Facelift is expected to be available for sale in the coming weeks, inheriting several design elements and features from the Thar Rocks, while retaining its current engine-gearbox configuration.
The Maruti Victoris has already started arriving at showrooms before its official price announcement. It stands out as the first Maruti Suzuki car to offer Level-2 ADAS and is recognized as the safest car to date, having received a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP tests. The Victoris will come in three engine options – petrol mild hybrid, strong hybrid, and petrol-CNG.
The Tata Punch Facelift is scheduled for an October launch, incorporating minor design changes and feature enhancements. The Tata Sierra EV is planned for a November launch, with expectations that it will utilize the same powertrain as the Harrier EV.
The New-Gen Hyundai Venue will undergo significant design changes to its exterior and interior, while retaining its current engine options.
Skoda will be re-introducing its performance-focused Octavia RS Sedan, powered by a 265 bhp, 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine. Imported via the CBU route, this car is projected to be priced around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Volkswagen is expected to introduce the Tayron, a premium 7-seater SUV, by the end of 2025. However, the official launch date is yet to be confirmed.
MG showcased the Majestor SUV at this year’s Bharat Mobility Show. While originally intended for a 2025 launch, the automaker has not yet announced the specific launch date.
