While Yasim Murtaza’s Pakistani cricketing ambitions were thwarted by injury, he demonstrated remarkable resilience and perseverance. He was given the opportunity to debut for the Hong Kong team in 2022. Through his consistent performances, the all-rounder established himself in the team, eventually ascending to the captaincy. In the ongoing Asia Cup, Yasim leads the Hong Kong team. Despite the team’s losses in both matches, Murtaza has a commendable record.
