
The action-adventure film ‘Mirai,’ featuring Teja Sajja, is garnering positive reactions from the public. Sajja, known for his role in ‘HanuMan,’ stars in this new movie. Despite the presence of several films released this Friday, ‘Mirai’ has successfully made its mark at the box office. The film’s strong performance is reflected in its Day 2 collection.
On Day 1, ‘Mirai’ collected Rs 13 crore, with the Telugu version earning the majority (Rs 11.15 crore). The Hindi version contributed Rs 1.65 crore, while the Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions added smaller amounts. Day 2 saw the collections rise to approximately Rs 14.5 crore, with Rs 11.5 crore from Telugu and Rs 2.8 crore from Hindi. This takes the two-day total to Rs 27.5 crore, with Telugu leading at Rs 22.65 crore, followed by Hindi at Rs 4.45 crore, and the remaining from other languages.
The movie tells the story of a warrior whose mission is to safeguard nine holy scriptures that possess the power to transform mortals into deities.
Teja Sajja discussed how he was cast in ‘Mirai’ after ‘Hanuman.’ Director Karthik Ghattamaneni described the challenges of the film during the narration, possibly to assess Sajja’s commitment. Sajja committed to the project. The film features Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran in other key roles, with Manchu Manoj portraying the main antagonist.
