In a harrowing incident from Balod district, Chhattisgarh, three youths stand accused of a violent attack on school students. The victims were subjected to stripping, physical assault using a stick on their private parts, and other indecent acts. The perpetrators threatened the boys with death if they spoke of the incident, which took place in Bhatgaon village on September 9th. The victims’ families later reported the incident, which led to a police investigation that began on September 12th.
The ordeal began when three schoolboys, including Tikaram Sahu, were approached by the accused near their school. They were then lured to a pond near the village. Once there, the accused used abusive language, forced the victims to remove their clothing, and proceeded to beat them with a stick. The victims’ attempts to escape were thwarted when the attackers tied them up with fabric. The youths threatened them with a knife, warning the victims not to disclose what had happened. They also issued death threats.
The victims returned home, frightened and injured, but did not immediately report the incident. The situation came to light when Tikaram’s father questioned him after hearing rumors. Tikaram revealed the details of the assault to his family and the parents of his friends. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter, with the accused facing serious charges of assault and threats.
