The impending Bihar assembly elections have brought to light potential cracks within the Grand Alliance, primarily due to disagreements over the Chief Ministerial face. While Tejashwi Yadav is actively promoting himself as the next CM, MP Pappu Yadav has stated that the decision on the CM will be made after the elections. He has also made it clear that the Congress party is unwilling to compromise on seat allocation. Pappu Yadav’s remarks suggest that the alliance might be experiencing some strain, especially when it comes to the division of seats. He has emphasized that the Congress will not concede on the quality of the seats. He mentioned that ticket distribution should be based on the performance of the Grand Alliance’s MPs in the Seemanchal region.
