A land dispute has escalated into a major controversy in Bihar, with a JDU leader accusing RJD MLA Amar Paswan of land grabbing and issuing death threats. The JDU leader, Savita Shahi, stated that the MLA and his associates took control of her land and destroyed infrastructure on the property. She reported that when she objected, Paswan threatened to kill her if she did not transfer ownership of the land. The police have initiated legal proceedings against the MLA in response to the complaint.
