
The Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2025 will begin with a match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Both teams qualified for the Super 4s from Group B. Sri Lanka finished at the top, winning all three of their matches. Bangladesh secured their place by defeating Hong Kong and Afghanistan. They are set to compete against each other once more.
The match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be held at the Dubai International Stadium on September 20th. The Super 4 matches will have the same start time as the group stage, beginning at 8 PM Indian Standard Time. The toss will be at 7:30 PM IST. The match will be broadcast live on the Sony Sports Network. Live streaming will also be available on the SonyLIV app and website.
In their prior Asia Cup match, Bangladesh scored 139 runs, with only Jaker Ali, Shamim Hossain, and captain Liton Das reaching double figures. Sri Lanka successfully reached the target in 14.4 overs due to Pathum Nissanka’s half-century and Kamil Mishara’s 46 runs. Following this match, Sri Lanka will play Pakistan on September 23rd and India on September 26th. Bangladesh will face India on September 24th and Pakistan on September 25th.
