Hyundai has launched the i20 Knight Edition, a stylish all-black version of its premium hatchback i20. This new edition features a range of design enhancements, including black-themed alloy wheels, roof rails, skid plates, side sill garnish, outside mirrors, a rear spoiler, and a matte black Hyundai logo. The red brake calipers and sporty metal pedals add a touch of sportiness. The interior is also enhanced with black upholstery and brass inserts. The Knight Edition is available in the Sportz (O) and Asta (O) trims of the standard i20, with a starting price of ₹9.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The i20 N Line’s N8 and N10 variants also receive the Knight Edition treatment, with prices starting at ₹11.43 lakh (ex-showroom). The i20 Knight Edition is powered by a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 83 Hp and 115 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission. The 1.2-liter petrol engine includes an idle stop and go feature. Hyundai has discontinued the 1.0-liter petrol engine variant, which came with a 7-speed DCT and 6-speed iMT. With the release of the i20 Knight Edition, Hyundai is introducing new features for the i20 and i20 N Line, such as a roof-mounted spoiler and a dashcam, which vary depending on the selected trim.
