Tech companies are the primary beneficiaries of the H-1B visa program. As of June 2025, Amazon had 10,044 employees on H-1B visas. Following Amazon was TCS. Subsequently, Microsoft, Meta, Apple, Google, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra America have thousands of employees on H-1B visas. Tech employees account for over 65% of H-1B workers. The Trump administration claims that these companies have removed American employees and increased H-1B hiring on the other hand. IT companies have misused the H-1B system, which has significantly harmed American workers. This enables companies to achieve substantial savings.
