A new rail service was launched in Rajim by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, expanding transportation options for the local populace. The event included the inauguration of a new MEMU train service connecting Rajim to Raipur. In addition, the Raipur-Abhanpur 2 MEMU rail service has been extended to Rajim. The launch saw a large number of passengers boarding the train and traveling to Raipur. This new rail service is expected to be very useful for students, working professionals and businessmen, with a generally positive effect in the region.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the new rail service will provide affordable travel options to the residents of Rajim, Gariaband, and Devbhog, by linking them to Raipur. Travel from rural areas will now be easier, more convenient, and more affordable, since Rajim is now connected to the rail network.
