A 16-year-old girl, Saraswati Kumari, was murdered in Kumang village, Tapkara, on Saturday. The alleged killer, Premchand Sahu from Malgo village, Lapung, is reported to have fled after the stabbing. Emergency services were alerted, and the victim was transported to a referral hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police from Tapkara police station are investigating. The girl and the accused had a relationship initiated through Facebook.
