Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is preparing to embark on a two-day trip to Morocco. During his visit, Singh will preside over the inauguration of a plant constructed by Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL). This plant is noteworthy as it represents India’s first weapons manufacturing facility established in another country. This trip marks the first time an Indian Defense Minister has visited Morocco. Singh will also conduct bilateral meetings with Abdellatif Loudiyi, his Moroccan counterpart. In addition, the Delhi unit of the BJP is arranging an anti-drug awareness run as part of their ‘Seva Pakhwada’ celebrations, which honor Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. The run is expected to involve roughly 5,000 youth participants and will originate from the Rugby Ground within the Delhi University North Campus. The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the youth wing of the BJP, is organizing the run, which will begin with a flag-off at 6:30 AM.
