Uttarakhand’s financial health has been positively affirmed by the CAG report, which reveals a historic revenue surplus for the state. In the financial year 2022–23, Uttarakhand recorded a surplus of ₹5,310 crore. This achievement reflects the state’s enhanced financial condition and represents a major step forward in its economic journey. This development is particularly notable given the state’s past economic challenges. The state government’s commitment to transparent policies has been instrumental in achieving this surplus. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attributed this achievement to the government’s good governance policies and its dedication to making Uttarakhand a self-reliant state. The government is working with determination to foster a prosperous future.
