The Jaffar Express was derailed in Balochistan’s Mastung area after an explosion on the railway track. The blast caused significant damage to the train, with several coaches overturned. Rescue teams arrived promptly to assist passengers, including women and children. Two explosions were reported at the site. The blast has triggered scrutiny of passenger safety on railways. Earlier in August, a similar incident, involving a bomb blast, led to the derailment of the Jaffar Express in the same district.
