The wife of Inspector Gyandeep Kumar, who is posted at the Kargahar police station in Sasaram, Rohtas, has died by suicide. Her body was found hanging in their government accommodation. Police have taken the body for a post-mortem and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. The couple had only been married for five months, with their wedding held in Motihari. The inspector’s family is from Taru, Muzaffarpur district. The incident occurred late Wednesday night. The police were informed after the inspector discovered his wife’s body. Initial findings from the police indicate a possible dispute between the couple before the unfortunate event. The deceased was a native of Hajipur, Vaishali district, and resided with her husband in Rohtas after their marriage. The SP Roshan Kumar has informed the deceased’s family and an FSL team will be collecting evidence. A medical board will conduct the post-mortem, and further action will be taken after receiving applications from the family.
