To assist travelers during Diwali and Chhath, the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) is launching a special bus service with reduced fares until November 30. The service is designed to address the travel difficulties caused by extensive waiting lists for train tickets. BSRTC is offering subsidies on bus fares to ensure affordable and comfortable travel.
The special bus service will operate from Patna to various cities and districts in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and other regions. BSRTC has ensured that each bus is equipped with modern facilities to prioritize passenger comfort and safety.
The subsidy offers around 30% discount on the usual fare. The Patna-Delhi route, for example, has a fare of ₹1873, but after a subsidy of ₹619, passengers will only pay ₹1254. Similarly, the Patna-Nagpur route fare is reduced to ₹1133 from ₹1527. The Patna-SCR route fare has been cut down from ₹2812 to ₹1893.
Buses will depart from Delhi between 2 PM and 8 PM. Passengers can also easily book tickets online. During the festive period, buses will be available from Patna to Ghaziabad, Mathura, Varanasi, Hajipur, and other major cities. This special initiative will offer passengers a cost-effective way to reach their destinations securely and help increase the popularity of the bus services. Tickets can be reserved via the BSRTC website: https://bsrtc.co.in/.
