At the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association’s annual meeting in Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai declared a ₹21 lakh incentive for athletes from the state participating in the Olympics. The meeting addressed several critical matters, including the 2024-25 audit report, the budget for 2025-26, and the appointment of auditors. Sai highlighted the government’s dedication to identifying and fostering sports talent within Chhattisgarh. In addition, the government is also working towards expanding sports infrastructure. The government is also planning to increase the sports budget and encourage corporate sector participation. The Chief Minister mentioned that the central government is focused on strengthening the sports infrastructure.
