In preparation for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its election strategy by deploying 45 key leaders. This initiative aims to strengthen the party’s infrastructure from the booth level to the Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies. Each of these leaders, who come from different states, will be responsible for specific Lok Sabha constituencies. Further appointments are planned at the Assembly level. These leaders will oversee six Assembly constituencies each. A significant meeting in Patna saw the presence of key figures including Home Minister Amit Shah, Bihar election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, co-in-charge C.R. Patil, Keshav Prasad Maurya, and Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde. The visiting leaders were briefed on their assignments and sent to their respective areas with the mandate of securing a victory in Bihar. The ‘special 45’ include prominent individuals such as MPs Santosh Pandey and Vijay Baghel from Chhattisgarh, and National Vice President Saroj Pandey. Also included are MPs Ramesh Bidhuri, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, and Union Minister Harsh Malhotra from Delhi. From Gujarat, MPs Devusinh Chauhan, Mitesh Patel, and MLA Amit Thackeray have been given specific roles. Additional leaders include former MP Sunita Duggal from Haryana, MP Yugal Kishore Sharma from Jammu and Kashmir, and MPs Manish Jaiswal, Kalicharan Singh, and State Working President Ravindra Rai from Jharkhand. MP Anant Nayak from Odisha is also on the list. Representing Madhya Pradesh are Gajendra Singh Patel, B.D. Sharma, Anil Firozia, Minister Prahlad Patel, and Vishwas Sarang, along with former MPs K.P. Singh Yadav and Arvind Singh Bhadoriya. From Uttar Pradesh, MPs Satish Gautam, Rajkumar Chahar, Sangam Lal Gupta, former MP Vinod Sonkar, former Minister Satish Chandra Dwivedi, leader Upendra Tiwari, and MLA Salabh Mani Tripathi are included. The Leader of the Opposition from Rajasthan, Rajendra Rathore, is also part of this team. Former MPs, MLAs, and senior organizational figures like Ram Sat Pute (Youth Wing Vice President) and others have also been entrusted with responsibilities. The party intends to make further appointments at the Assembly level in the upcoming weeks. The goal of the visiting leaders extends beyond campaigning; they are tasked with activating local workers and ensuring the NDA alliance wins in every constituency. The BJP anticipates that the presence and organizational experience of these 45 leaders will be a game-changer in the Bihar elections.
