
Aishwarya Pissay, a racer for TVS Racing, has etched her name in history by becoming the first Asian woman to compete in the FIM Cross Country Rallies World Championship (W2RC) at the BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal 2025. This rally, concluding on September 28, 2025, marks a crucial preparation phase for Aishwarya as she gears up for the Dakar Rally 2026.
Post-Portugal, Aishwarya is set to participate in the Rally of Morocco. She shared her feeling that the journey has been immensely fulfilling, and she acknowledged the crucial support from TVS Racing. Participating in the W2RC rally in Portugal is a key step in her preparation. Her focus is now on the Morocco Rally and she is committed to the Dakar Rally 2026.
Since its inception in 1982 as India’s first factory rally team, TVS Racing has been instrumental in training over 3,000 professional racers. The company further bolstered women’s involvement in racing by launching the world’s first all-women factory racing team in 2016.
The “Track to Road” philosophy of TVS Racing is instrumental in translating racing expertise into mainstream motorcycle development, as a result, integrating racing technologies and high performance into models like the Apache series and NTORQ 125.
