The VLF Mobster 135 scooter’s launch in the Indian market has been met with strong initial demand. In just three days, the scooter has received more than 1,000 bookings, averaging 21 bookings per hour. This rapid response indicates a strong interest from young buyers and scooter enthusiasts. The initial pricing for the scooter is ₹1.30 lakh, a price point accessible to the first 2,500 customers. This will be followed by a price increase to ₹1.38 lakh. This leaves about 1,500 more opportunities for consumers to purchase the scooter at the original price. The scooter’s design, overseen by Italian designer Alessandro Tartarini, integrates elements from both ADV (Adventure) bikes and streetfighter motorcycles, creating a unique look. Notable design features include twin projector headlamps, sharp panels, and an all-LED setup. The Mobster is assembled locally at a plant in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, utilizing CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits. The scooter is crafted with the youth market in mind and offers vibrant color schemes. Equipped with advanced features, including a 5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, auto start/stop functionality, illuminated switchgear, and a full LED lighting system, the scooter also boasts switchable dual-channel ABS and traction control, a first for its class. The 125cc single-cylinder engine delivers 12 bhp of power and 11.7 Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful options in its category. Front telescopic forks and dual gas-charged shock absorbers are incorporated to provide stability and a comfortable ride on different road conditions. Combining power, a distinctive design, and advanced technology, the VLF Mobster 135 is poised to be a game-changer in the Indian scooter segment. Based on its launch price and booking success, the scooter is well-positioned for strong performance in the Indian market.
