He believes such measures are crucial to prevent the unnecessary loss of lives in stampedes. Compensation has been announced by both the Chief Minister and Prime Minister. The Chief Minister has announced 10 lakhs for the deceased and 1 lakh for the injured. The Prime Minister has announced 2 lakhs from the PM relief fund for the deceased, and actor Vijay has announced 20 lakhs and 2 lakhs for the deceased and injured, respectively.
