The previous matches between India and Pakistan in the tournament also witnessed a massive turnout. In the Super 4 match on September 21, 17,000 fans were present at the stadium. Before that, the league match on September 14 drew a crowd of 20,000 spectators. India was victorious in both these matches.

The organizers are hopeful that the remaining tickets will also be sold soon.
