“Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc” has been released in India, offering a new anime experience for viewers. Based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s “Chainsaw Man” manga, the Japanese dark fantasy action film, released in Japan on September 19, 2025, and select Asian countries on September 24, 2025, is now available to Indian audiences in both Japanese and Hindi from September 26, 2025.
Despite high anticipation, the film’s box office numbers haven’t matched the record-breaking success of “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle.”
Initial estimates indicate that “Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc” earned approximately Rs 0.5 crore on its opening day. On the second day, the film’s collections rose to around Rs 0.74 crore, bringing the two-day total to roughly Rs 1.24 crore.
The story features Denji, who becomes ‘Chainsaw Man’ and works with Special Division 4 as a devil hunter. He later meets Reze, a girl who works at a café after a movie date with Makima.
The voice cast includes Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Shiori Izawa as Pochita, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki, Fairouz Ai as Power, Karin Takahashi as Kobeni, Natsuki Hanae as Beam, Yuuya Uchida as The Violence Fiend, Maaya Uchida as Angel Devil, and Reina Ueda as Reze.
