During a recent interview, the actor discussed his experiences on the show. He disclosed that he has played over 350 characters throughout the show’s duration, including more than 35 female roles, with ages varying from 21 to 80.
This impressive feat has earned Sheikh a place in the World Book of Records. He mentioned that early on, he carefully chose which characters to portray.
However, as the show progressed, the creators embraced experimentation, which was well-received by viewers. Sheikh also shared that preparing for a single role often required around two and a half hours.
Aasif Sheikh’s career extends beyond television, with appearances in films such as ‘Karan Arjun’ and ‘Bharat’. However, it was the role of Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ that propelled him to fame.
