The rail network in Bihar is expanding with the introduction of three new Amrit Bharat Express trains. The announcement came from Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who confirmed that the trains will begin their journeys from Patna Junction starting today, September 30th. The trains will be officially launched on Monday through video conferencing. These new services are being introduced as part of a broader initiative to benefit the people of Bihar ahead of Diwali and the upcoming assembly elections. The new routes include services from Muzaffarpur to Charlapalli (near Hyderabad), Darbhanga to Madar Junction (near Ajmer), and Chhapra to Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi). The Muzaffarpur–Charlapalli Express will be the first Amrit Bharat train connecting to South India. The Chhapra–Anand Vihar Express will represent the sixth Amrit Bharat connection to Delhi.
