
India’s cricket team celebrated their ninth Asia Cup title, achieving a five-wicket win over Pakistan on September 28. Abhishek Sharma, the Player of the Tournament, accumulated 314 runs across seven innings. Tilak Varma’s 69 runs were pivotal in the final chase, with Rinku Singh securing the victory with a boundary in the final over. The Indian team maintained an undefeated record throughout the tournament. Abhishek Sharma’s exceptional contribution was acknowledged with the gift of a Haval H9 SUV.
The Haval H9 is a model of Haval, a subsidiary of Great Wall Motors (GWM). The vehicle includes a 2.0L turbo petrol engine that produces about 214 hp and 380 Nm of peak torque. The SUV comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and can achieve a top speed of 200 km/h, with fuel efficiency estimated between 9–12 km/l. The H9 has Level 2 ADAS capabilities, including Traffic Sign Recognition, Rear Collision Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking. The seven-seater cabin features a 14.6-inch touchscreen, a 10-speaker audio system, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging. Haval intends to launch the H9 in India, with an expected price around Rs 40 lakh. Although it is a premium off-road capable SUV, it is not yet available for retail in India.
