A gruesome murder has been reported from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, where a young man was killed by his minor girlfriend. The victim, Mohammad Saddam, was found dead in a lodge with stab wounds to his neck, inflicted by his girlfriend while he slept. Saddam was from Kishanganj, Bihar, and the girl, a resident of Bilaspur, has been taken into custody. The police are investigating the case. The couple had a long-standing relationship and often met in Raipur, staying in hotels and lodges. The incident took place on Sunday night. After the murder, the girl returned home, and her mother, upon seeing bloodstains, was informed by the girl about the murder. The mother then informed the police in Bilaspur. The police reached the lodge, using a duplicate key to access the room, and found the man’s body. The girl’s mobile was seized. The victim worked at an MS engineering workshop in Abhanpur. On Saturday, the couple planned to meet, and the girl came from Bilaspur to Raipur by train. They went to a lodge near the station. During the night, the girl told her boyfriend she was pregnant. The boyfriend responded that he couldn’t do anything till he finished his studies and he pressured her to get an abortion. The girl was angry about the abortion. They checked out of the lodge on Sunday morning, returning in the evening to take another room. Later that night, after both had fallen asleep, the girl stabbed him multiple times, killing him instantly. The girl then locked the room and left for Bilaspur by train at around 5:30-6 am, disposing of the room key on the railway tracks. During questioning, the girl stated that her boyfriend threatened her with a knife outside the lodge after she revealed her pregnancy. She then spent time with him to calm him down, before eventually killing him with the same knife.
