A significant earthquake, measuring 4.7 on the magnitude scale, hit Myanmar early Tuesday, resulting in noticeable tremors felt across parts of India, including the states of Manipur, Nagaland, and Assam. The quake’s proximity to the India-Myanmar border was noted, with the epicenter situated 27 km southeast of Ukhrul, Manipur. The timing of the event was logged by the National Center for Seismology as 6:10 am on September 30th.
