The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has disrupted a major radical module in the wake of the ‘I Love Muhammad’ controversy, leading to the arrest of four individuals: Akmal Raza, Safeel Salmani (Ali Razvi), Mohd Tausif, and Kasim Ali. The arrests took place on Monday across different locations in Uttar Pradesh. The ATS has accused the suspects of planning to overthrow the government through violent jihad and enforce Sharia law. Intelligence indicated that the suspects, influenced by radical Pakistani organizations, formed a Mujahideen Army. The group allegedly held meetings, used social media to incite violence, and collected funds to purchase weapons for terrorist acts, including targeting non-Muslim religious leaders.
