
Indian para-athlete Sumit Antil has claimed his third gold medal in a row at the World Para Athletics Championships, competing in the F64 class. His outstanding throw of 71.37 meters secured his victory. This adds to his impressive record, which already includes gold medals from the 2023 and 2024 championships, along with two Paralympic gold medals from Tokyo (2021) and Paris (2024). He is also the current Asian Paralympic Games champion. Sandip Sargar of India also achieved a gold medal in the Men’s javelin throw F44 category, with a throw of 62.82 meters. Sandeep Chaudhary won silver in the same category, throwing 62.67 meters. Tomas Soto secured the silver medal, while Pradeep Kumar of India had a best throw of 42.72m.
