Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the chief guest at the RSS centenary celebrations held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi on Wednesday. The event began at 10:30 AM. A significant part of the event was the unveiling of a commemorative coin and a postage stamp by the Prime Minister, recognizing the RSS’s contributions. Earlier, during his Mann Ki Baat address, PM Modi reflected on the RSS’s century of existence, terming it as “amazing, unprecedented, and inspiring.” He also emphasized the significance of this year’s Vijayadashami, coinciding with the centenary of the RSS, established in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur.
