VinFast is expanding its after-sales service capabilities in India by joining forces with Castrol India. This partnership will ensure that VinFast EV owners across the country have access to dependable and readily available service support. The initiative is a key step in VinFast’s strategy to build a strong service network for the growing EV market in India. The collaboration will utilize selected Castrol Auto Service (CAS) workshops from Castrol India’s network of over 750 outlets across more than 300 cities. These dedicated service centers will be fully equipped with VinFast branding, certified EV technicians, and genuine VinFast parts. VinFast will be responsible for providing the necessary service manuals, diagnostic tools, training programs, and warranty coverage procedures. Castrol will ensure that the workshops meet the required infrastructure and operational standards. This alliance will enable VinFast customers to benefit from Castrol’s expertise and innovative service protocols, supported by a connected digital workshop ecosystem. These advancements are designed to deliver consistent quality, transparency, and convenience at every service interaction. VinFast recently opened its first overseas assembly plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with a starting capacity of 50,000 vehicles annually, which can be scaled up to 150,000 units. The plant is expected to create thousands of direct job opportunities. Additionally, VinFast plans to launch 35 dealerships in 27 cities by the end of 2025 by partnering with major dealer groups. VinFast is launching its premium SUVs VF 6 and VF 7 in India and is developing a robust service network to support the vehicles. VinFast and Castrol are committed to elevating service standards by offering advanced diagnostics, authentic parts, and digital-first support solutions to provide a premium customer service experience.
