This impact resulted in facial injuries, necessitating stitches. This unfortunate incident rules him out of the series, which is a setback for the New Zealand team. The series is scheduled to start on October 1st. The second and third matches are on October 3rd and 4th. The New Zealand Cricket Board confirmed the injury and announced Jimmy Neesham as Ravindra’s replacement. Australia had also been dealt a blow, with Glenn Maxwell, a key all-rounder, being ruled out of the series.
