Ranbir Kapoor is involved in a major project, and Ranveer Singh faces setbacks, including being dropped from multiple films.
Ranbir Kapoor is currently focusing on ‘Love and War,’ slated for release in 2026, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and also starring Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt. Initially, Ranveer Singh was considered for the role, but eventually, Ranbir Kapoor was selected.
In addition to the reported exclusion from ‘Love and War,’ Ranveer Singh has reportedly decided to leave Prashanth Varma’s film. Also, his involvement in ‘Shaktimaan’ did not materialize. The latest development indicates that Ranveer Singh is no longer associated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Baiju Bawra,’ a project considered a dream for the director.
Reports indicate that Ranbir Kapoor will now take on the lead role in ‘Baiju Bawra.’ The film is believed to be a remake of the 1955 classic. Ranbir Kapoor is occupied with ‘Love and War’ at present, and ‘Ramayana Part 2’ and ‘Animal Park’ are also in the pipeline, which suggests a considerable wait before this film can be released.
