Following the lead of the UN, Turkey has frozen the assets of multiple Iranian organizations and companies involved in the nation’s nuclear program. This move, ordered by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and published in the official gazette, targets key sectors. The targeted entities span Iran’s energy, banking, shipping, and research sectors, including the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and several entities involved in uranium conversion and nuclear fuel production. This action is a response to the re-imposition of sanctions on Iran by the United Nations. The move signifies Ankara’s commitment to aligning with the international community in its efforts to curb Iran’s nuclear program.
