
In a distressing event in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, a man murdered his girlfriend on Thursday at a petrol pump following their breakup. The police have taken the accused into custody, and an inquiry is ongoing. The incident occurred in the Gandhinagar police station area, and the victim’s body was sent for a post-mortem.
Jogendra Paikra, 28, arrived at the petrol pump with the intent to harm his ex-girlfriend, Bharti Toppo, 27. He was carrying a knife and an air pistol. Upon seeing Bharti, he initiated a chase and ultimately stabbed her in the abdomen.
Witnesses at the scene immediately reacted and apprehended the perpetrator. The victim was rushed to the hospital, but tragically, she died from her wounds. Investigations suggest that the couple had been in a relationship, but Bharti decided to end it, which angered Jogendra.
