TVS Motor Company has launched an updated version of the Raider 125 for the year 2025. The bike introduces new features, particularly to enhance safety. This move by TVS is aimed at keeping pace with other competitors in the 125cc segment. The Raider 125 competes with models such as the Hero Xtreme 125R, Honda CB125 Hornet, and Bajaj Pulsar N125.
Among the new features is a new rear disc brake setup, which incorporates single-channel Super Moto ABS, a first for the segment. The bike also includes petal disc brakes and red brake calipers. A protective cover is included to ensure performance longevity.
The 2025 Raider 125 now features wider tires. The front tire is a 90-section and the rear is a 110-section. Additionally, a new paint scheme has been revealed with a red and white color combination. The design remains mostly unchanged.
The engine is unchanged, maintaining the 124.8cc single-cylinder, 3-valve, air-cooled engine. This engine delivers 11.2hp of power and 11.2Nm of peak torque. The bike will have the same 5-speed gearbox as the previous model.
Standard features include LED headlights, LED taillights, and halogen turn indicators. Overall, there are minor changes in the appearance and technology, but the primary features remain consistent.
