
The Mahindra Thar, a well-recognized name in the automotive world, has received an update. The company has launched an updated 3-door Thar with prices starting at Rs 9.99 lakh. This update builds on the success of the second-generation Thar, launched on October 2, 2020, with over 3 lakh units sold in India by 2025.

**Exterior Upgrades for the Mahindra Thar 3-Door:**
The Thar’s radiator grille has been redesigned, moving away from the body shell-like finish. Silver trim is applied to the bumpers for a dual-tone effect. The alloy wheel design remains unchanged, but the rear now includes a parking camera and a rear washer-wiper. The fuel lid can be opened via a switch located in the driver’s seat. Two color options, Tango Red and Battleship Grey, are offered.
**Feature Enhancements in the Mahindra Thar 3-Door:**
New pillar-mounted grab handles ease cabin access. Power window switches are now integrated into the door panels. The vehicle also includes the steering wheel from the larger Thar Roxx, along with a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sliding front armrest, and rear AC vents. The touchscreen also displays off-road-focused Adventure Stats such as altitude, bank angle, pitch, and yaw angle.
**Engine and Mechanical Specifications of the Mahindra Thar 3-Door:**
The Thar retains its existing engine-transmission options, suspension setup, and drivetrain. Three engine choices are available: a 1.5-liter diesel, a 2.2-liter diesel, and a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual (MT) and a 6-speed automatic (AT).
