The excitement surrounding ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is reaching a peak as fans anticipate the gathering of Marvel’s heroes, both established and new. Robert Downey Jr.’s return as Doctor Doom is highly anticipated. According to recent reports, the initial look, such as a teaser or trailer, for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will be revealed soon, potentially premiering with another major motion picture.
According to multiple sources, the first look featuring Robert Downey Jr. is expected to be showcased in theaters with ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ on December 19. Marvel Studios has yet to make a formal announcement regarding these speculations.
The film will star Pedro Pascal, Chris Hemsworth, Channing Tatum, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and James Marsden. These actors have all appeared in prior major Marvel films, including ‘The Fantastic Four’, ‘Thunderbolts’, ‘Black Panther’ and ‘X-Men’.
Speculations suggest possible cameo appearances by Jeremy Renner, Tom Holland, Hayley Atwell, Benedict Wong, Chris Evans, and Ryan Reynolds.
The appearance of Doctor Doom happened first in ‘The Fantastic Four.’ The plot focuses on four astronauts—Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm—who are granted superpowers after being exposed to cosmic rays. They evolve into protectors of Earth. Concurrent with this, Reed and Sue prepare to become parents. However, circumstances shift dramatically when Earth is imperiled by Galactus. They also find out Reed and Sue’s baby son, Franklin, will have extraordinary abilities.
‘Fantastic Four’ manages to avert planetary destruction by successfully defeating Galactus. The scene shifts to four years later, featuring Sue and her son. After leaving the room, she is startled to find Franklin accompanied by a green-cloaked figure brandishing an iron mask. Even though the character’s identity hasn’t been revealed, it is suspected that the character is Doctor Doom.
The scene concludes with the message, ‘The Fantastic Four will return in Avengers: Doomsday,’ implying that Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm will play a key role in future Marvel films in their battle against Doctor Doom.
