
During the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh 2025 held in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched several youth-centric initiatives and celebrated the achievements of 46 all-India toppers from Industrial Training Institutes. This event represented the fourth National Skill Convocation. PM Modi extended his congratulations to the students and lauded the skill development progress in India. He announced the launch of two major education and skill development projects, which included the PM-SETU scheme, with a substantial investment of Rs 60,000 crore. Moreover, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur Skill University in Bihar, focusing on industry-oriented courses and vocational education, while recognizing Karpoori Thakur’s contributions to the state. PM Modi highlighted the modernization of Bihar’s educational institutions and commended the Bihar government for its Student Credit Card program, which offers interest-free education loans and higher scholarships for students.
