
Two fatalities and seven injuries were reported following a powerful explosion at a coaching center in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday. The blast, which is believed to have originated in the basement, is suspected to have been caused by an excessive concentration of methane gas within the septic tank. Emergency services, including ambulances and fire crews, were quickly on the scene to provide assistance and transport the injured to receive medical attention. The force of the explosion was such that parts of the building were strewn over a considerable distance. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has addressed the incident, ordering officials to provide immediate relief and support. Law enforcement, including SP Aarti Singh, are actively investigating, with a focus on determining the specific cause of the explosion, including potential involvement of a switchboard located in the basement. CCTV footage is also under review as part of the ongoing investigation.
