Following the gun-shooting celebration during the Asia Cup 2025, Sahibzada Farhan is facing renewed criticism. The Pakistani batsman, who had previously been warned by the ICC after a similar incident, is now under scrutiny for a bat sticker. The sticker, named ‘Gun Mode’, was created by Farhan’s bat sponsor and depicts the gun celebration that sparked controversy during the India vs. Pakistan Super 4 match. The company shared a video of Farhan promoting the sticker, but later removed it due to negative reactions on social media. In the Asia Cup, Farhan had scored 58 runs off 45 balls, with the controversial celebration happening after he completed his half-century. He later clarified that the gesture was part of his personal celebrations rooted in Pathan traditions, with no political intent.
