At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Tata Motors presented the updated Tata Sierra SUV. The vehicle has been undergoing road tests in India, with recent sightings. Fresh images suggest that the ICE (internal combustion engine) version, running on petrol/diesel, is nearing its market debut.
The latest spy shots show the test model completely concealed, preserving the design’s secrecy. Nevertheless, the design was displayed at the expo; the production model should be similar. The images highlight the SUV at a petrol station. Based on the photos and the expo model, the Tata Sierra ICE will likely have:
* Comprehensive LED lighting.
* Front and rear full-width light bars.
* Black ORVMs (side mirrors).
* A distinctive C-pillar design.
* Flush-fitting door handles.
Additional features include a shark fin antenna.
Prior spy shots indicated the Tata Sierra ICE will have a three-screen configuration: a digital driver display, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a third screen for the front passenger. Each screen is projected to be roughly 12.3 inches, featuring a floating design. Inside, the cabin will present a more upscale ambiance, using a dual-tone scheme, soft-touch materials, and ambient lighting throughout.
Tata Sierra Engine Lineup
Tata’s new SUV could offer three engine options, including a 2.0-liter diesel (from the Tata Harrier), a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. Moreover, the company has confirmed that an electric version (EV) of the Tata Sierra is planned for an early release.
