
Raipur, October 6, 2025/ In the World Para Athletics Championship 2025 held in New Delhi, Indian para-athletes have created a new history on the world stage on the strength of indomitable spirit and tireless hard work. In this prestigious competition, the Indian team, performing its best ever, has illuminated the name of the country by winning a total of 22 medals including 6 gold, 9 silver and 7 bronze.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, congratulating the Indian para-athletes on this glorious performance, said that this achievement is a source of inspiration for the entire nation. He said that our para-athletes have proved that when the resolve is firm and the hard work continuous, then no destination is impossible. This performance is not only inspiring for the sports world, but also infuses new energy and self-confidence in every citizen of the country.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, wishing all the winning players a bright future, said that this success of theirs is a living example of “New India’s New Flight”. He said that the whole country including Chhattisgarh is proud of its para-athletes, who have written a new definition of Indian spirit in front of the world.
