Zoho has officially entered the bustling digital payments sector with the launch of its cutting-edge POS devices at the Global Fintech Fest 2025. This strategic expansion aims to disrupt the market currently dominated by established names like PhonePe and Paytm.
The new Zoho Payments hardware portfolio comprises an all-in-one POS machine, an advanced smart POS device with a built-in printer and touchscreen, and a cost-effective static QR code solution accompanied by a sound box. These offerings are designed to provide businesses with flexible and efficient payment acceptance capabilities.
Zoho’s new payment terminals boast versatile connectivity options, including 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, enabling them to accept payments through chip cards, UPI, and QR codes. A significant advantage is the seamless integration with Zoho’s existing business management software. Merchants can now leverage their payment terminal as a hub for real-time payment tracking, accounting, and overall business management.
This hardware launch represents the evolution of Zoho’s payment solution, which initially debuted in 2024 as a software offering. The company emphasizes the convenience of a unified dashboard for all payment and billing data. Furthermore, Zoho ensures high security standards, holding PCI DSS certification.
