The Indian cricket squad is assembling in New Delhi with the arrival of star players Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shreyas Iyer. Their presence signifies the final stages of preparation before the team embarks on its tour of Australia, commencing October 15th. The itinerary includes a demanding series of three ODIs and five T20Is, providing an excellent platform for the team to test its mettle against one of the world’s top cricketing nations. The Indian contingent will depart from Delhi in one group, heading to Perth for the series opener on October 19th. New ODI skipper Shubman Gill and head coach Gautam Gambhir will be looking to leverage the experience of Kohli and Sharma as they steer the team through this critical phase of transition and development.
